resend: motronic dist. rotor

I haven't ordered the cardisc CD yet... can anyone tell me, how do I get the
distributor rotor off on my '93 Spider?

Does the whole distributor body have to come out? Is that difficult to do
(ie. is alignment difficult, or can it only go back in one way)?
