Lately I've been thinking of replacing the stock 15" Speedlines on my 86 GTV6
with something else, preferably in 16x7's.
I've seen 116 cars with Ronal A1's and Compomotive's. Do these fit as-is, or
are adapters required? Also, are Etoile's (five spoke three-piece) still
available? I believe that these were made for 116 cars. Where in the Los
Angeles area am I likely to find something that will fit?
Lastly, I've seen photos of European GTV6's with SZ/ES30 wheels. Anyone have
 these for sale?

 Thanks in advance.

None of the above mentioned wheels are 16 inchers. The best source for 16
inch 5x98mm bolt circle rims for 116 chassis and 164 cars is Discount tire.
The last time I checked, they had a few different styles of 16s for our cars.
I've purchased a couple of sets of Concorde Type 1 16x7.5 rims (five spoke
design reminiscent of BBS Moda) for my cars and they work fine without
spacers or any other mods. They are relatively inexpensive as well. Figure
on around $1100 for a set of wheels and tires mounted, balanced and shipped
to your door. We've used these rims on 164s, GTV/6s and Milanos with great
results. They make a dramatic difference to the stance of the car. Ask for
the 164 fitment as the hub centering rings that they provide for that car
will work fine on the 116 cars. Hope this helps!
