Don't worry about the looks. But you do need two.

Check with an authorized dealer and see if they are still available.

Hopefully the remote you have has the code on a little label inside.
Coding the new remote will be home electronics project. Careful, miscode
it or get unsteady with your tools and you will trash the remote. I
looked for the procedure in the car disk; but couldn't find it. I think
I recall my mechanic saying something about using a soldering iron and
translating the code to binary and modifying the circuitry inside the
remote to code it??? I believe the new remote comes with instructions.
