Milano front end upgrade

Can't remember where I recently saw it (or dreamed it?) but a discussion
about replacing the 2 funny ribbed donuts on the upper "A" arm of the
Milano with something out of an older model Alfa, like an Alfetta. Anybody
shed any light on this upgrade? Did I see it here on the digest? Can't find
it.
