For all those with the window regulators that do not want to raise the glass 
very quickly, DO NOT KEEP TRYING until you examine the cable on the drum. 
Most likely the cable is not following in the proper grooves and is crossing 
over itself. Fix it before the cable breaks (difficult) or replace the 
regulator. Motor seldom fails. I wrote an article in the ALFA OWNER 
magazine about how to test switches like those used for windows. Good luck,
