Anyone got any Milano head removal tricks?

Greetings Alfisti!
I think it was a month ago that I last posted on the
digest.........I've been very busy renting every car I can get my hands on.
Anyway to the subject at hand.My beloved Alfie, ('87 Milano gold
2,5,stock except for Verde wheels and tires) has 134k miles on it and has
picked up the habit of smoking. It's oil smoke, and methinks the valve guides
are on their way to valve guide Heaven. The car still runs like a top, but the
smoke when you punch the throttle is getting a little bit worse each day.
So, a friend of mine this afternoon in a fit of friendliness gave me a
set of 2,5 heads off a motor with 87k miles.Looks like the heads off this
motor ave been rebuilt;they and the cams are spotless. No burning, heat
scoring etc. These heads are CLEAN!I want to install these on my car;but I
want to take and replace the valve guides before putting these on the car.Do
any Alfisti have any tips or tricks they'd like to share regarding
this????I'd love to hear them.
I intend to put these heads on my motor complete w/ new head gaskets, new
timing belt and the obligatory water pump change.I've done the timing
belt/waterpump change before but want to do the head removal and replacement
myself as well.Does the brake MC have to be removed to pull out the left
head?Any tips on this would be most greatfully appreciated............
    Thanks in advance!
Thanks,
