Testing AFM meters

Is there anyway to test a AFM meter to determine if it is still good or
if it is the culprit for my poor idle and lurching problem.

I still cannot locate my idle problem.  I have checked just about
everything and have replaced most of the vaccum lines in search of my
problem.  Any other hints?
