Hello, everyone!

There were a few Alfas out at the junkyards in Northern California this
weekend. Is APE getting lazy?

'83 GTV6, black, tan leather interior in the Pick'n'Pull off Mowry. "For
Sale" sign in car says car ran well, belonged to someone named Jeff. Look=
s
pretty straight, complete, rust free, still has engine and major mechanic=
al
stuff. Gauges, computer, wheels, passenger's seat, and bits and pieces fr=
om
interior are gone. Leather rear seat out in the mud as someone's makeshif=
t
creeper, and somebody dumped a beer in the trunk. Looks like it had been =
a
decent car, though.

VERY nice looking set of stock alloy wheels, lots of very good interior a=

trim stuff, nice dash, guages, heater vents and controls, good tail light=
s,
doors, and trunk lid, accept that somebody bent up the Alfa emblem trying=

to pry it off. Don't remeber if the computer is still there, but all the
major mechanical stuff is there. Looks like the same car that sold for $6=
00
at the Charity auction in Benicia a few months back. Anybody know the sto=
ry
on this car? Looked like it was a really nice car....

79ish? Alfetta Sport Sedan, white, worn velour seats with seat covers, bu=
t
otherwise nice looking interior. Guages missing. Wheels gone, body looks
like it was really clean, don't remember seeing any rust, lots of good tr=
im
pieces. Looks like it was a pretty nice car, except that it's an automati=
c.
Has chromed head nuts and engine hoist gizmo, but cam cover is missing.
Also looks like it had a Nardi or Momo steering wheel, still has the hub,=

though it looks like someone tried to take it off with a big hammer or
screwdriver or something and bent it up a little. Also broke the column
switches and clamshell. All the major mechanical stuff is still there.

Sad to see these cars get crushed. Guess nobody loved 'em!
