Addition to the Stepper Gears Warranty: guaranteed to work upside down and 
frozen in Canada! (or anywhere else). No, seriously folks, you have to 
imagine the work the motors are doing shunting that air around. The 
gearboxes enable the tiny armatures to deliver considerable force to 
cables, doors and drums. The stronger the gearbox the better. Steel and 
bronze: we build 'em tough down here. If Bosch had done it right in the 
first place we wouldn't be wasting so much real time in our 164's and on 
the digest with this subject. Hey, let us know how they go, Dug Seed In.
BTW --on OTHER 164 topics: I've just added instructions and pix of the 
"easy" leaking 164 Cam Hub O-Ring fix (thanks Karl and Matthew) and making
