I have an 89 Spider and I want to know how to tell whether I have Bosch
L-Jetronic or Motronic injection. Thanks.


Melvin, as far as I know the 89 SPiders were L-jetronic and the 90 Spiders 
started with the Motronic.  I'm not sure how to tell the difference between 
the actual injection systems, but the Motronic cars also have the 2 piece 
exhaust manifolds similar to the early 70s cars.  I believe the 80s Spiders 
have one piece manifolds.
