AE is a large conglomerate that just happens to own Borgo.  So if you had
Borgos you would still have AEs.
In the late 80s and early 90s if you got pistons from ARDONA they come in
a Borgo box  but  were wrapped in AE paper.  So most likely you have
Borgos.
On pistons in general, there is no excuse for a manufacturer to produce
pistons that are not adequate for a normally  aspirated engine ( possible
exception, an engine with a mean piston speed over 4000 feet per min.). 
It is just too easy to cast high silicon alloys with modern equipment. 
so use the AEs and don't worry about your pistons.
