chocolate

In AD7-921 Kim Boydell writes that "Mike Miller's 1979 chocolate brown Alfa
spider that is for sale - The colour is probably Bronzo Met. A.R. 837,
because that is colour of my 1979 spider." (Can you say "Non sequitur"?)

AR 837 Bronze Metallic is not the same color as AR 836 Chocolate Brown. 1979
Spiders of both colors had the same colors of tops and upholsteries, but the
chocolate brown is non-metallic, appreciably darker, and looks like
chocolate. It is similar to, but not identical with, AR 846, Testa di Moro
(Tete de Negre in Francophone countries) on the '79 sedans, which is slightly
redder. There is also AR 524 Brown Metallic which was used in the same period
on coupes and sedans but not on Spiders, and an AR 518 Ruby Metallic on the
sedans only, and an AR 516 Aubergine on the coupes only.
