89 Milano ARC - Brake Sensors

Okay, I thought that I would resolve this issue by simply adding brake
fluid to the m/c in my 1989 Milano.... Of course, nothing is ever as
simple as it seems! First, the symptoms - the ARC panel lights for
both "brake" and the brake light indicator come on when the brakes are
not being applied. Once I apply the brakes, the lights go out. My
diagnosis - brake fluid low. Well that cured the problem for about
five days.... now it is back, brake fluid level is near the 'max' mark.
Brake lights all work. Possibly a faulty sensor?

I purchased a replacement master cylinder brake fluid resevoir and when
comparing it to the one in the car, noted that there is a 'tube' that
seems to attach to the clutch m/c - do I need to puncture the 'tube' so
that fluid flows through the line? How big a diameter is required? Nip
the end off? Puncture?

Any and all advice appreciated.
