	The spica system does have similarities to the mercedes and BMW tii systems.
	
	long before wes ingram was repairing them, if you talked REALLY nice
you could get george kreiling, of pacific coast injection, to do an
overhaul on them. (he did mine) and specialized in the mercedes and BMW
pumps. 
	years later, he denied any knowledge of this, (but i have/had the
receipt to prove it) and directed me towards wes' operation.....
	there MAY be options....but wes has got this stuff down. why not send
it to him?
	when spica system came out there was some REAL concern about the
emissions police. and if the EPA had found fault w/ alfa's procedures,
it could have meant 30 years fewer alfas here in the US. hence the
conservative stance on "repairing" the pump.
