Global Warming?

Wanted to confer with a digesti who responded to an earlier comment on
this vein, but couldn't find the message....

Of course the Draconian emission controls target "greenhouse gasses", so
called because they cause(?) Global Warming(?).  So "Global Warming" has
been an activist cause, Gore a leading acolite, Bubba twisting the arm of
local weathermen to give "Global Warming" figures in their weather reports
(a few months ago).

My earlier comment reflected the be-it-and-end-all satellite study, which
was to document the rise over the past one-hundred years (came out <one>
degree -- when corrected for errors, 0.13 degree -- which number depends
upon the invalid technique of assigning four-place accuracy to two-place
data of a century ago -- the responsible result is 0 warming shown).

I read the NYT to get an insight into what the PC crew is up-to next (that
earlier report <was> printed -- buried on a late page, and never mentioned
again).  But perhaps a shift is underway (our political prostitutes may
have to step lively to avoid having the rug pulled from beneath their
feet) -- now later reports printed (in color, of course, and on the front
page of a section) deal in <regional> warming.  And in a book I just read
by an activist/birder, published in 1999 (after the house of cards was
collapsing?) while "Global Warming" is background in many places, in the
one place dealing specifically he observes that warming in one area may
be balanced on a golbal scale with cooling in another -- it looks as if
the failure of that study <had> come to him, and that one spot was revised
accordingly prior to publication.  Of course the facts never collapse the
dogma of an agenda.  (In other passages, he speaks of difficulty in
waiting for scientific proof -- where of course the gifted insiders
already know THE TRUTH prior to scientific evidence........).  And just as
in Kosovo (or anywhere else), they have no compunction in imposing their
TRUTH on un-believers.
