Re: Caribou top installation

The upholstery shop charged me $200 to remove old top and install the
tan canvas Caribou top. Dropped off the car with old top in place and
new top boxed in the trunk late in the afternoon and received the car
the day after with spiffy new top. Was instructed to not fold top down
for a week.

I'd read [prolly on the Alfa Digest] that the installation can look
exquisite or like you have a hefty bag attached to the top of your car.

Didn't want to take the chance of tilting my relationship with my
Spider further towards the hate and away from the love side, so I
coughed up the dough.

Good Luck - I suggest obtaining a swatch to insure that the shade of
color matches what you're seeking.
