Hi,

I suspect the fan is not turning on. It could be the fan switch,
connections to the fan or some corroded ground wires. I have experienced
all 3. 

If you want to put S-cams, don't forget to change the followers and
replace all oil seals in the front of the engine. Those seals should last
for about 70K miles or more.
