Seat time!

News from Bill Prout on his Fall Sports Car Celebration and Lapping Day:

"On Wednesday, November 10th, 1999 Bill Prout will be holding his fourth
annual fall driving event at Lime Rock Park. The event is open to all skill
levels and types of cars (muffled event), and is one of the most fun events
of the season. The categories are: Novice--always with instructor, plus
classroom; Intermediate--part of the time with instructor; Vintage
(1955-1975 vehicles)--your choice of instructor with classroom or solo; and
Advanced--solo only.

"The event is limited to seventy cars plus instructors. Our team is the
best group of teachers in the Northeast! Event organizer, Bill Prout,
started his racing career at Lime Rock in 1965 with his '64 Alfa Sprint and
he's still driving. He went on to become the chief instructor of the Skip
Barber Racing School as well as enjoying a professional driving carrier in
Formula Atlantic, Sports Cars, and GT cars. His son, Ian, also an
instructor and former Barber employee, as well as two-time NARRC Champion,
heads-up the twenty-four other champion race drivers who love to help. No
school, private or club, has better instruction, more track time and a more
positive atmosphere than ours.

"The school is filled on a first-come bases. For more information or an
application, please call Bill at (860)767-0091, if you get the machine,
please leave a message."
