Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge

The problem is that you cannot run a pressure line into the cockpit
to run the gauge. That is a fire hazard.

Russ is absolutely correct; imagine one's reaction two days before your car
('65 AC Cobra) is the featured marque at the Monterey Historics, and your
four-barrel carburetor backfires, melting the nylon line, and there's flames
exiting the hood. Does lousy things to the paint, too! Ironically, when we
fourteen 289's got to drive the track at noon both days, there were four
other cars with the useless and dangerous gauge, and no one was interested
in my unfortunate example. Perhaps it's that Found On Road Dead mentality,
or something. (Alfa content: Alfa's love Monterey)
