164 piston - valve kissing

Hi!
    my 1991 164L had started suddenly to make what sounded like a very
    loud valve `click' so bad that it sounded like a worn out diesel in
    enclosed places, but as it turned out the valve clearances were fine,
    the timing had jumped a coupla notches, possibly from the engine turning
    backwards a bit when parked on a slope & in the wrong gear.
    luckily no damage was done & it now runs flawlessly again.
