I have GTV-6 taillights installed on my Alfetta. Similar to this, but I
drilled out the rivets and cleaned around the contact points and then
reinstalled them using pop rivits. this worded well. Also, check the
ground. The GTV-6 uses a "pass through" ground to the passenger side light
and then a common ground for the whole system. Check and make sure that
ground is very clean. I also installed a second ground off of the drivers
side board. Use of one of those contact lubricants would also seem like a
good idea even though I have not done this. Seems to have worked for me over
the last couple of years.
