SPICA Mixture Adjustment

Bob: The mixture of the SPICA pump is altered by rotating the Fuel Cutoff
Solenoid, NOT the cold start solenoid. The FCS is the one toward the
front of the car when viewed from above. Rotating the FCS in a clockwise
direction leans the mixture. The "field fix" is to turn the solenoid
clockwise until the RPMs start to drop and then back off by an eighth to
a quarter of a turn. Hope this helps.

Subject: cold start solenoid stuff

I've been told that my 73 GTV needs to have the Cold start solenoid
adjusted
because it is smokey at first start(Black not blue) but warms up and runs
fine. SOOO the question is which way to turn it to lean it out a bit? Any
ideas? Thanks Bob Brooks 73 GTV trying to quit a nasty habit
