Spider leaks

Passenger door "leak" - I'll bet that the "vapor" shield on the
passenger side is gone. It's a "plastic" curtain that is clipped under
the inside window scraper and drapes down along the inside of the door
panel so that water runs down the curtain and out of the drain holes in
the door bottom. Take off the door panel and: 1) check to make sure
that the drain holes aren't plugged up with junk; 2) you can replace the
curtain most easily by doing what the later Alfettas did and cementing a
piece of 4 mil (or so) plastic over the opening in the door frame (cut a
small hole for each of the two armrest mounting screws). Leave it
unglued at the bottom and a little baggy so that the map pocket can push
on it a little. Alternatively, you can try to drape a new curtain from
under the inside window scraper like Alfa did originally, but I've not
been able to figure out how they got it down through all the window
regulator cables.

Rear shelf leak - Usually, that means that the drains in the trough
located under where the top is attached to the body are plugged up.
There's a couple on each side with the first located right behind the
door frame, under the vinyl cover that runs between the inside of the
top and the top of the carpet. With a little perseverance, you can
finagle the cover out of the way and run a straightened coat hanger
gently down the drain tube. Be careful not to puncture the rubber tube,
which exits the body in front of the rear wheels. If you can, you might
check to make sure that the bottom of the drain hasn't been plugged with
undercoating or some such.

Hope this helps!
