Driving/Fog Lights - Observations as Promised

OK, I looked at the lights on my GTV6 front bumper, and they both say Bosch
across the middle.  Still not sure if they are fogs or driving lights, is there
an easy way to tell the difference without turning them on? (My car is
completely stripped right now).  They look more like the driving lights than
the fog lights I have seen for sale.

They are mounted to the bumper with solid-looking brackets, seems like a
professional job.  The wiring looks more amateur as I said, but it could be
that this was a DPO fix to get around a bad switch or harness problem (or maybe
someone had occasion to remove the bumper and decided to cut the wires).  I did
not have the time to find the console (its in my garage somewhere) or figure
out how they were wired up.

So I guess I still don't know if these were a dealer option or not, but since
most of the electrical stuff on the car seems to be sourced from Bosch it seems
quite possible.  I'll post again when I get a chance to peruse the harness and
switch setup.
