I have the IAP Shop manual for the 80's - early 90's 2000 spiders, but can't
seem to find these facts.
Does anyone know:
1. Standard horse power from a 93 Spider?
Standard HP is 120@ 5,800 RPM
Standard Torque is 121@ 4,200 RPM
2. what is the "b" in bhp?
No Idea-- Where did you see this? I recall seeing it and wondering the
same- but can't remember now.
3. Fuel pump capacity <volume/psi> for a 93 Spider, is it large enough for
say..250 hp?
On page 00-56- Complete car section of shop manual are fuel system specs.
It states Fuel Delivery pressure as 41.2-46.9 PSI
As for 250hp-- I'd like to see that! If you can do that you must post it on
the digest.
- - Honda just squeezed 240hp out of a 2L DOHC normally aspirated engine for
their new convertible due out in 2000. Yes that's 120hp per liter! More
than any other stock production car according to my Sunday paper. Dare I
say I might own a Honda some day? Say it isn't so..
