flat cams

Hi All,
Next problem with the car: it appears my cams are going flat. If indeed they
are, does anybody have recommendations on what to use on a '77 spider (CA
smog) that might improve the performance a bit (1750 cams, or maybe cams
from an earlier 2000, or anything else) but still let me pass our smog
inspection?
