1. Lots of cash...
2. Duct tape
3. Dental floss  (not so much for cleaning the vermicelli out of your
teeth, also works if the throttle rod socket cracks and will not stay on
the bell crank among other uses)
4. flashlight
5. old towel or blanket
6. 1 bottle of a good red wine

If you plan to really get away from civilizationl a half gallon of water
and a quart of oil, but generally your Alfa will let you know if you
will be needing these ahead of time.
Other than that, IMHO if you dont have confidence your Alfa will handle
a long drive, no amount of tools will help.
