Paul Irvine states:
"I once owned a 1981 Honda Accord. This car I believe had the dubious
destinction of being the last new passenger car sold in CA with a
carburetor."
My wife had an '85 Nissan Sentra with a carb. The car was reliable
and the carb worked fine till smog time came, then the car was one of
the first "gross polluters," and I had to get the carb rebuilt twice
to make it pass. But I really decided we needed to get rid of the car
after the time we went on a fairly long trip and couldn't hear the
radio over the buzzing from the engine at anything over 65 mph. We
finally gave the car to my in-laws.
Anyway enough about Nissans.
