jack points

Off digest I have been discussing with Dave P. where to lift and or support
a Spider.  I heard someone on digest mention lifting from the trans support
bracket, another jacking point mentioned off digest was the differential.  I
was asked to advise on this but don't feel comfortable giving advise.  Where
do some of you jack and then support your spiders from??
