Inboard brakes etc.

The Alfasuds also had their parking (or "emergency") brakes on the
inboard front disks. When LJK Setright was evaluating one of the first
ones for CAR magazine, he took it home for the night. As he approached
his front gate, he tried to do his usual
turn-the-wheel-yank-the-handbrake turn, not knowing that the brakes
worked at the wrong end for that, and stuffed it nose-first into the
stone wall! And then he had the grace and humor to come right out and
tell everyone about it, which says much of the man.
