I know the Rolls! Had one myself for a little while. Very tough to maneuver
here in the hilly Seattle area but a real head turner (NOT to be confused with
a certain "Turner").

Ian, you must be just jumping with joy at all the attention you get when
driving the Rolls! It seems that almost everyone you meet offers a greeting of
some kind (horn honk, wave, words of encouragement, suggestions for
performance enhancement, etc.) People seem to go out of there way to be
friendly and communicative.

Why, when I was driving mine, I could (inadvertently) tie up traffic for
miles. I guess the Rolls was just so much of an attention getter that no one
cared to move very fast when we were on the hiway. Ahhh, the feeling of
nothing but open road in front of you and mountains of adoration piling up
behind ... :-)

Enjoy the Rolls, Ian. It's not often you'll find another car, Alfas included,
that is such an attention getter. Sigh, memories of carefree days of my youth
come washing back over me ...

ciao
