RE: Vendors on AD

Im not suggesting a vendor 'free for all', just that if someone asks a
question, someone with vendor affiliations, who may know more about the item
in question than anyone else, should be free to reply, just like the rest of
us. if I ask "does anyone know how much Tecnomagnesio GTA replica wheels
are?", if there is a dealer on the digest, he/she should be free to answer,
as Im sure I'm not the only one who wants to know.

I think its a bummer that I have to send "me too" messages to people if I
want info that has been sent off-digest.

At least these messages are guaranteed to have ALFA content, unlike a fair
bit of stuff that is spouted on-digest!!!

I'll just re-state my thoughts - Hawking, I DO object to, but a response to
a question asked, with info that more than one person might want to know, I
find perfectly acceptable, and even desirable.
