Ferrari produced a version of the 3.4-liter Mondial with the
Valeo clutch system. It had a conventional gear selector but
only two pedals.
The new 355F1 has paddle shifters mounted on either side of
the steering column, Formula-1-style.
Both cars have constant-mesh gearboxes and dry clutches (unlike
Tiptronic, for example).
