I agree that the Mini is a very fun car to drive, and that Alec Issigonis
was (is) a genius, but I wouldn't call a Mini a Sedan.

No doubt there are many claimants to tthis title, including some U.S.
marques ( Duesenburg, Marmon, Cord). It is also interesting that BMW
ignored the sportiest sedan of all. One which participated successfully in
all manner of racing, predated 1962, and is a marque which they now own. A
car that is, by carefull calculation using six Cray supercomputers in
parallel, 943.763982% more fun to drive than any other car ever made. It's
the Mini.
