Following the discussion on synthetic gear oils in Alfettas. I own an '81
Alfetta GTV. Today I have changed oil in my transmission. I went to the
store and looked at the Castrol oils catalog (since I live in Croatia,
Europe, this is one of the most popular manufacturers). Under Alfetta GTV
'81, two oils were recommended. First one was an old-fashioned 80W-90, and
the other one was TAF X 75W-90 synthetic. I decided to try it, and bought 3
litres of the latter. I will write about my experiences in a few days, after
a few cold mornings.
