Centerline sells engine mounts for these cars that will allow the installation of any engine right up to a 2
liter, using the original non-scoop hood. With these mounts, the engine sits at a slight angle, just as it did on
the 750 and 101 Veloces from the factory. This will allow the use of dual sidedraft Webers.

We can also supply a rebuilt 5 speed trans that bolts right in. It's a 1750/early 2000 trans with the correct bell
housing for whichever engine you choose, and a 4 speed endcap, to interface properly with the original cross
member. There's a special seal involved at the front, and some internal modifications are required to the endcap.

No cutting or modification to the chassis is necessary, so the original 1300 and 4 speed can always be
reinstalled.

These mods make the Giulietta infinitely more pleasurable and usable. On the way from Boulder to Santa Fe this
summer, we cruised at over 100 mph for some pretty good stretches. The car was totally relaxed and unstrained
(this one had a 1750 in it). Try that with a 1300/4 speed!
