V6 head gasket questions

Hi all,

Not a good start to the weekend. Blew a head gasket Friday night. Have
got nearly everything off, but have a question (probably only RHD V6
owners will know the answer): Is it possible to remove the left-hand
cylinder head without opening up the master/booster assembly (perhaps by
removing the engine mounts to lower the whole assembly)?

I'll be replacing all the coolant hoses and getting the radiator cleaned
out, but what else should I be looking at? I'm assuming that the heater
core should be clean, since it wasn't on at the time.

Anything else I should do at the same time? The budget at this time
doesn't extend to any performance modifications.
