164 Windscreen washers

Certainly most do seem to stay up. I have only found one car where they
snapped back. I tried lots of things to improve it, including using silicone
fluid. Currently, I have given up and simply push them back down as I get
out of the car. I guess the plastic plunger must swell. I have tried to
disassemble the units without luck/

I'd love to hear if anyone understands the dark magic of the windscreen
washers.
