Benefits of AROC to us

One thing that we get from AROC USA is insurance.  And sanctioning.

Mind you, these are NOT insignificant!  AROC Detroit is also part of the
Detroit Council of Sports Car Clubs, and 2 of the other member clubs do
NOT have a parent compmany to help with the insurance.  Result?  They 
annually pay close to $10k for insurance for all their events, theirs 
ONLY.  From what I know, AROC USA pays somewhere near $20k to cover basic
insurnace for ALL the chapters.  We pay $150 per event to get an extra
rider for competetion events, which is not a lot.

That is why we give significant discounts for track events to fellow AROC
USA members, their dues help pay for the base insurance.

O.K. this might be a small portion of what AROC's income might be, but from
an active club, we are VERY appreciative for it!!!!

For the record- we run 4 or so autocrosses (of the 10-12 DCSCC events), 1
autocross school, and 2 open track events.
