Don't bet on it.  I have no experience with the multi-electrode Bosch plugs, so
they may be different, but my daily drive Camaro Z28 came with single-electrode
Bosch platinum plugs from the factory.  This supposedly enabled them to spec a
100K mile tuneup interval.  However, I removed mine at 30K miles, and the gap
had worn away to 60 thou. (supposed to be 40).  I put in some AC Delco plugs
and it idled much smoother.  I no longer use the platinum type, mostly because
the car is now supercharged and the extra cylinder pressure tends to blow the
platinum pucks off.  My point is that while platinum plugs may outlast regular
ones, they certainly do not last forever, or even as long as advertised in my
experience.
