Lancia's in AD 281 & 282

Surely the last real Lancia is the Gamma, which never sold very well in the
UK due to it being very unreliable,
Self destruct cam belt tensioners which wrecked engines etc.

The Beta whilst being a Lancia design had a Fiat twin cam engine and such a
bad reputation for rust that
it virtually killed Lancia in the UK. The final line regarding the
automotive world, Lancia could be in the UK still if it hadn't had the Beta,
as the Delta etc. were OK.

On the otherhand the Alfasud & Alfetta weren't that unsucessful in the UK.
Yes they struggled but part of the issue 
was the perception of the press regarding them. They are also expensive in
the UK, but compared to the Crap say
BLMC were turning out at the time they were wonderful.
