164 belt

Adam,
This deal was a time limited one, and was not a recall, but "an
inspection". The time is up and if it wasn't done, you lose. Many people
didn't know about it and many found out by reading it in the digest.

You can tell if it has been done on your candidate by looking for a
white paint dot on the top of the timing belt cover. This was an ARDONA
request for the dealers to mark the cars that were done.

Good luck on the search. Mileage is not a big deal on these cars if well
maintained, in fact it may be healthier than a seldom driven car.
