It is good to see someone else appreciate the less poplar but superior B-24.
I was lucky enough to sit next an ex-B-24 driver on a business trip not to
long ago.  We had a similar discussion on the B-24 not being as well know,
i.e. popular, as the B-17.  Maybe if "12:00 O'clock High" used B-24's in
place of B-17's either the B-24 would be more well known or maybe the movie
would have been a flop.
