I'll second the recommendation for American Collectors Insurance. I've had
all my "old" cars with them for quite a number of years, and they've been
reasonable in terms of cost, and terrific when I needed them. (When my then
5-year old got the handbrake off the Aston and it rolled down the driveway
into the concrete gatepost, they didn't skip a beat at the $17,000
repair....and yes, my son IS still alive today....) I have taken one of the
cars off the policy, though, because I drive it a lot more than the 2500 mile
limit. I think they will make some exceptions for club events and tours, but
if you're going to drive a lot you should check with them about mileage.
Good luck,
Dan Rhodes
