Milano headlight covers & Dino for sale

Headlight covers --- A couple months ago I mentioned that I had seen some
headlight covers on a Milano and my search for said headlight covers was on.
The search is over. For all those of you who wanted me to let you know what I
found, I found nothing. My parts guy spent the better part of 3 weeks calling
his supplier, and subsequently 3 manufacturers. All of the three were no
longer making anything for Milano's, and none had any back stock.
The only other solution I found was the thick headlight film that sticks
onto the headlights. IAP has a catalog they mail out the automotive jewelry
crowd (the ones who just must have a $400 heated picnic basket with their
car's logo on it...I snagged one of the catalogs on my last visit to the
store) and it has a generic listing with a number to call to see if they have
it for you particular car. I haven't called yet, but I will. If anyone's
interested, e'mail me. And if you need that $400 picnic basket......
Dino for sale --- Several weeks ago I posted looking for info on Fiat Dino's,
one of which I found for sale. I got a great deal of response, thank you all,
but the car is no longer available to me due mainly to distance and the ever
present 'lack-o-money' factor.
I got one response from a person who told me I should contact Joel Hailey at
IAP as he is rather knowledgeable on the Dino's. I had to laugh for a bit
since it's actually Joel's car. Joel is moving to Colorado and had asked me
if I knew anyone who was interested in the car. I was, however I waited too
long and the car has now been shipped to Colorado. From what Joel told me
that car runs excellent and has many new parts (both of which I would expect
to be true, what with Joel being the tech guy at IAP) but I never saw it. If
you're interested you can reach Joel directly at alfadoc@domain.elided I assume
he'll have the same e'mail address for a while even though he's moving, but
you never know.
