Looking for Alfa mechanic in London/Stepper Motor Gears

I am looking for a reasonable Alfa mechanic in London to service my 164 on a
regular basis.  Can anyone recommend a suitable garage from personal
experience?  

Additionally, one of my stepper motors is on its way out.  I've read in the
FAQ about replacement gears being available for the motor.  Has anyone used
them; if so, how long did it take you to fit them and what has your
experience with them been so far?  I've contacted an Alfa specialist in
London who can replace the stepper motor with a new one for UKP83 plus 2
hours labour, which might be a better bet?

Finally, can anyone recommend a paint for the bumpers of a 164 (I've seen
the recommended paint on the FAQ) which is available in the UK?  I had an
estimate from a paint shop of UKP300 to touch up parking scratches on both
bumpers, which I think is a bit steep for something which is purely
cosmetic.  I figured I'd give it a go myself, then if I am unhappy with the
results, take it in to the professionals.
