engine analyzer v3.0 (windows/windows95)

does anybody have any experience with this product?  before i plunk down my
$149.95, it would be nice to know how useful it is, or if there are better
alternatives.

fwiw, i'm gearing up to build a modified 3.? liter motor, and would like to
perhaps do some modeling before i start buying parts.

also, do any of these programs provide output to programmable engine control
systems?
