More on rear shock removal :: 69 1750 Spider

Well, I tried to remove the bolts that hold the radius rods to the
axle...  too long!  They hit the wheel's back plate and still are not
clear.  Guess I'll need to drop the radius rods at the body's end.
Looks even more difficult.

Still hoping for some insights on how to do this job and do to safely.
