If you are refering to the Grand Cherokee it has the same brake pedal offset
feature as the Audi 5000. When Audi put a brake pedal switch interlock on the
5000 automatic, the only ones that had "problems", the unintended accelaration
problems not amazingly disappeared. The Audi U.I. problem did have one
benifit, a lot of used car buyers got great cars really cheap, not only AT
equipped cars but all Audis.
