Jack, did you try adding a nice ground wire from the sender body
to the chassis? If the wire from the sender is fine, maybe it's
the ground gremlin again. When the car is sitting still, the
gremlin is asleep. When the car is running, the vibration wakes
him up and he tweaks your gauge for revenge. ;=)
